Here are the facts for 2013:

1. We scored 62 more total runs than last year in one less game giving us a runs for average of over 21.
2. Our average differential (runs for minus runs against) has gone up over the last 3 years from 3 to 7 to 11.3.
3. Even though I’m old and rickety, I’ve only missed 4 games in the last 3 years.  Caplan has only missed 5.
4. Ilan is the only player not to have struck out.
5. Marc is the only player with a sacrifice bunt.  Does anyone remember that? [EDIT: as a one-off, it is not included in any official stats].
6. Josh is the only player to have a total slugging percentage of over 1.000 in all 3 years.
7. Although Joel played only 5 games this year, he had already hit 5 doubles and 2 triples.  He hit 10 doubles and 6 triples in 19 games last year and 8 doubles and 5 triples in 17 games in 2011.  Who knows what would have happened this season?  Heal quickly buddy.
8. While not in the attached stats, Cary and Fred struck out a combined 26 players (Cary – 16, Fred – 10) in 22 games this year.  Last year, we only struck out 20 players in 23 games.  Great improvement and definitely a help to the defense.
9. Did you know that Fred was having his bar mitzvah while Sheldon was still sucking his mother’s tit? While he was still a baby you sick fucks!  Anyway, Fred is a machine.
