Here are the facts for 2017:

1. No Caplan.
2. Final record: 5-12 (including our 1-game loss in the playoffs).
3. Our runs for average was our lowest ever (12.4) and our runs against average was our highest ever (16.8).  Competition was tough this year but we were still able to pull out some good wins.
4. Bobby, Joel and Rob H were the only guys to increase all 4 main stats (BA, OB%, Slug%, and OPS) over last year.  Well done!
5. Ryan and Ilan hit a combined total of 17 home runs this year accounting for almost 70% of the team’s total.  Nice.
6. Sheldon was the only one this year to play every game.  I think I’ll give myself a participation ribbon.
7. Things that stood out for me:
   • Bobby sacrificing an out so we could play the bottom half of the inning for the win.
   • Kurtz falling(??) and landing on all fours with his ass in the air.  Liebs admitting later that he was the one who was laughing.
   • Adam pulling a superman and making the best catch we’ve ever seen.
   • Ryan throwing a ball over the backstop from centerfield.  I don’t think we did recover it.
